About

Megan is a senior associate in the firm’s Employment team, having joined the firm as a trainee in 2012. She represents employers and private individuals across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR issues.

She is also a business immigration specialist, and is recognised as a leading associate for immigration in Legal 500. Megan advises clients on all aspects of business immigration, including matters relating to sponsor licences and sponsor duties, visa applications under the points-based immigration system and right to work requirements.

Experience

  • BAE Systems plc: Leading the client’s HR helpline service and advising on the full range of employment matters, as well as acting for the client in complex employment tribunal litigation.
  • Spire Healthcare Limited: Regularly acting for the client in employment tribunal litigation and advising on complex and day to day employment queries.
  • ITM Power plc: Advising the client on both employment and immigration considerations in connection with multiple secondments from overseas and cross border employment arrangements.
  • United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority: Advising on skilled worker visa applications and right to work issues, as well as providing tailored immigration training.
  • Groundworks services provider: Advising on an application for trade union recognition and an ongoing pay dispute with the trade union.
  • Ofcom: Advising on both employment and immigration matters, including drafting policies and other employment documents, advising on contractual terms and sponsorship queries.
