Overview

Wind power makes a substantial contribution to the UK’s energy supply. Our wind power lawyers are deeply embedded in the sector and provide key insight into onshore and offshore wind power projects.

We have a proven track record of helping clients to deliver wind power projects to tight deadlines. Working with experts from across the firm, we advise on all stages of wind power projects – from site assembly, consenting, route to market, planning to build out, financing and operation.

We also advise clients on the acquisition, disposal and refinancing of wind farms. In an increasingly competitive and subsidy free world, we believe our expert knowledge of energy regulation and route to market options gives our clients a competitive advantage. We have been at the forefront of corporate PPA's, asset optimisation and repowering.

Our service spans the whole of the UK – we have specialists in English and Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish law.
