We have been recognised as a leading law firm for our private wealth, family and estates and land services practices, with our national teams and individual practitioners ranked in the 2026 Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guide.
Released annually, Chambers High Net Worth highlights the best professional advisers for UK and international private wealth by identifying and ranking law firms and lawyers globally.
We achieved seven practice area rankings in this year’s guide, with six of our seven ranked practice areas retaining their position. The firm also achieved strong individual ranking results, with six lawyers receiving new or improved rankings across our Family, Private Wealth and Landed Estates practices.
Known for advising on complex cross-jurisdictional matters and some of the most sophisticated succession, tax planning and trust restructuring work, we retained all three of our Band 1 rankings for high-value residential work and private wealth expertise in National Leaders (Outside London) and Bristol and Surrounds. The firm also retained its Band 1 ranking in the UK-wide Landed Estates category.
The firm continues to be recognised among London’s leading private wealth advisers, retaining its ranking for Private Wealth Law in London. The firm is also ranked UK-wide for Family/Matrimonial Finance: High Net Worth matters and continues to be recognised for its Private Wealth Disputes expertise in the South West.
Among the individual rankings, Hannah Petherick achieved an improved ranking in the Family/Matrimonial Finance: High Net Worth category, while Michael Finnegan, Edward Hayes, Tim Williams, Emma Heelis-Adams and Tom Hewitt all secured new rankings in their respective categories. These results reflect the depth and breadth of expertise across the firm’s private wealth offering.
