We are pleased to announce the appointment of 20 new directors across the firm, with effect from 1 May 2026.
This year’s promotions represent the firm’s largest director appointment round and reflect Burges Salmon’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capability across the business and creating clear, long‑term career pathways for exceptional talent.
Alongside this year’s legal director promotions, the firm has also appointed two Business Services directors for the first time, recognising the specialist leadership and expertise provided by its Technology and Transformation teams, which play a critical role in supporting client delivery and the firm’s ongoing development and growth.
The legal director appointments span a broad range of teams including Corporate, Pensions and Lifetime Savings, Dispute Resolution, Banking & Finance, Planning, Real Estate, Tax, Trusts and Family, and Construction & Engineering, underlining the firm’s sustained investment in its people and its long‑term commitment to building market‑leading teams.
